From the relocation of the historic Howe House to a new site half a mile away on the Erie Canal in downtown Akron, to converting the 300,000 SF historic flagship Higbee department store into the new Jack Casino, TBA has diverse and unique design experience in the renovation market.
We understand the limitations and guidelines associated with historic renovation. We also have exposure to the many unique and antiquated structural systems used in the past, with a knowledge of their limitations and the ability to evaluate their structural capacity and structural integrity.
Restoration of existing structures can be complex requiring a knowledge of past construction methods and building systems, with a creative approach to adaptation and renovation. TBA has that knowledge and creativity.
