New $5.8 million, 56,628 SF Amur and Snow Leopards, Red Panda, and Takin exhibits and holding buildings. The new exhibits were designed with Asian architectural influences to emulate the surrounding culture in the region where these animals are found.
The Snow Leopard and Amur exhibits were expanded more than four times their original size to provide the animals the opportunity to rotate between four different connected habitats via tunnels.
The project also included an education plaza, which highlighted the conservation issues these species face.
