The student housing complex is designed as an apartment-style development featuring four, four-story buildings, providing a total of 548 beds. The project includes a mix of retail spaces, an admissions office, a commons area, and residential units. Strategically located across from the green quad of CSU’s main campus, the complex integrates seamlessly into the surrounding urban fabric.
TBA produced comprehensive construction documents for the underground utilities. The project team also worked closely with landscape architects to ensure the site design complemented the local environment, while also supporting the approval process for the site and utility plans with the City of Cleveland. Additionally, we managed an early site demolition package and produced detailed drawings for the reconstruction of Brownell Court.
Key infrastructure elements included the design of a large-diameter bore under East 18th Street to connect the new sewer system. The project achieved LEED Silver certification, reflecting our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
